- This is common on most computers. These files will only be registered on new computers without any
existing software.

- Win95/98, contact Hds and report the missing
name.

WinNT, Minimum version and
service must be 4.0 SP5. WinNT 4.0
SP3 does not allow ActiveX registration so NO Windows Registry items under
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Hydrocarbon Data Systems, Inc\
HDS2000\User0" will be writeable.
- Running calculations requires the Microsoft VB
scripting support and the script control. These processes are done
after the initial CD installation the first time you run the
program.

To load these modules: |

Exit HDS 2000.

Go to "C:\HDS2000\ENGINES".

Copy the text file "HdsScript.Txt" into \HDS2000.

Restart your program and install these controls. (rebooting is
probably not required).

"Spr32x30.ocx" not
registered |

Under WinNT, This file needs a C++ 6.0 dependency file in order to
be registered. The version for MFC42.DLL must be 6.0 or
greater. If the file is already in use Windows may not copy a newer version
over it go to C:\HDS2000\DRIVERS\C
Dependancy Files copy then file MFC42.DLL into
C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 then run the HDS setup again to register the
"Spr32x30.ocx" file.
