The following errors are typically found in the Spreadsheet calculation method using User Equations:
Program says Runtime error 429 -
"ActiveX component can't create object" in calculations.
· Solutions:
The VbScript.DLL and MsScript.OCX files must be
in the ..Winx\Systemx
directory. From the HDS Main Menu and select File-Utilities-Register
and these files will register with Windows. This one time only event
takes only a matter of seconds. For NT systems, administrator rights
are required.
Program says Runtime error 5 –
“Division by Zero" in calculations.
· Solutions:
In versions before HDS 2000 Las files were imported without requiring
defined units. Sometimes these values are extremely out of
range. Use the Edit Spreadsheet to do a quick check of the values and
clean up apparently bad data.
